In Memory of Carlos Godinez

fromthestreets.net

Carlos Godinez

This is my “right hand man” who taught me a lot what Street knows in regard to video production. When “Carlitos Way” ran East Chicago Public Access Television, he would help everyone. He had patience and had a knack for teaching you what he knew. He wasn’t against having a good laugh whenever the situation presented itself.
Later on in Hammond, a lot of volunteers and guest on the Public Access Television show called “Your Time” on channel 21 knew Carlos Godinez as “Uncle Chuck”. These people can attest to “Carlitos Way”. Street gives everyone nickname. He was also “backbone” of Public Access Cable in East Chicago and Hammond with Rob Schultz..
As of 1am in the morning on August 22. 2015, Carlos passed away surround by family and friends. Like Street told Curt Vosti, “I’d be re-missed if I didn’t tell you. Carlitos Way was and is my right man. Rest In Peace, and my God love you.

A Victory Party

fromthestreets.net

Street Patrol

Estoy Con Copeland

“I’m with Copeland”, and I was glad to see him win his re-election bid for Mayor of East Chicago on 5.5.15… there was talk about a “victory party, but nothing came of it. Some people like, “what’s up Street? What’s up with the victory party?” They asked me about the party. Soon, Street discovered that a “spoke in his wheel” was ill and in the hospital. Thus, the victory party was on hold for now. If now is 8.5.15, people are asking about the victory party.
It rained down near all day, and you had people out there in that wet, cold, dreary day working the polls for Mayor Copeland. Hope my guy “Jackie Robinson” steps up to the plate and have that “victory party for all those supporters who braved the elements working those polls to help him get re-elected…

“I Ain’t Mad at You, But…”

East Chicago has six district councilmen and three Councilman-At-large with a population of 30,000 people. They attended two meetings a month and make $42,000 a year. Need referendum to reduce the number of city councilman to six district councilman and follow the direction of East Chicago School Board, which has reduced the number of board members from 9 to 5. The feds let Juda Parks “skate”, and he filed a lawsuit to challenge the new Indiana State Law.

Our Pedigree

fromthestreets.net

Our Pedigree”

You read the “headline” in the newspaper, and the line in the sand has been drawn. Gilbert Bonilla was the antagonist, and Police Sergeant George Pabey was the protagonist in this case. Immediately, the narrative has been cast for Team Pabey… Yet, later on, the newspaper printed a retraction about Gilbert Bonilla being a gang member. But the damage was already done if you feel me. That was 10.31.85.

Right Now, My Brother 8.1.15

We’ve come to find that there are pages missing from #85-18660 (police report on Gilbert Bonilla homicide 10.31.85 on Halloween night)

Now come the case of Jasmine Esquivel in 2004. Shot in the head and found dead in a burning car in “Markstown”. Gilbert Bonilla was 17 years old when he was shot and killed by Sergeant George Pabey. Jasmine Esquivel was 18 years old when she met her gruesome death.

Both Cases Had One Thing in Common

According to source, the “paperwork” on Jasmine Esquivel case 2004 homicide had page or pages missing. Yep, just like Gilbert Bonilla case on 10.31.15.

Our Pedigree

The hanging of a woman in a Texas jail (R.I.P.) is causing a lot of debate and discussion… East Chicago had its own suicide inside their jail. Gave somebody “widow” $400,000 in 2002. It’s now 2015, so that would be like_______________. “Hush money” to “Street”, but  it is “nuisance lawsuit” by East Chicago Police Department at the time.

East Chicago is trying to appeal the verdict in the death of a prisoner.
