Poe-Poe Problems

Poe-Poe Problems
Street

Remember retired Poe-Poe told me about the slap on the wrist files @ East Chicago Police Department. "If you were "rolling with" the Chief of Police and connected. Your "screw ups" would be put in the slap on the wrist files @ E.C.P.D.," this cat was telling me. Street took mental notes with his "ears perked up" like a good canine. "Oh, yeah?" Street played along. "Yeah, to keep it from the newspaper," He continued.  (TBC)

Took The 5th

Someone took the 5th at the Grand Jury, and it wasn't a 5th of Vodka.

Something Brewing @ Grand Jury

Something Brewing @ Grand Jury

Steve's Towing

Jerry Kundich might be looking to make a deal with the Feds. The potential "smoking gun" is the following document below... Source said that he felt the franchisee fee was illegal and didn't pay the bill., and nobody said boo. No bill collector came looking for him. Gabe Herrera on deck for Grand Jury next week.

Keeping It One Hundred

 East Chicago City Council

Keeping It One Hundred
Street

The East Chicago Democratic Precinct Organization will soon vote on who will replace Ron London as Councilman At-Large. R.I.P. The word on the street is that three candidates have emerged:

A.   Mrs. Ron London

B.   Stacy Winfield

C.   “J.R.” Emiliano Perez

Aforementioned, they want to replace Ron London as Councilman At Large.

Back Story
Some East Chicago City Council people wanted to float the idea for Mrs. London to finish out her husband’s term. But another fraction mentioned that Ron London wasn’t elected by the people… Special caucus election to replace Juda Parks as Council At Large in East Chicago, you feel me?

Jewell Harris R.I.P.
His name came up on this subject matter, and how his wife, Donna Harris, finished out his team when he died.

“Yeah, but Earl Harris was elected,” Source explains… Street just took notes.

P.S.
Jimmy “The Body” Ventura and guy from The City School of East Chicago might jump in.
