Esquina = Back You Up in Spanish

"Esquina" = Back You Up In Spanish

Right before the Special Caucus to replace Elsie Franklin (R.I.P.) 6.10.19. The Times had a editorial where they sort of "handicapped" the race for Lake County Councilman in Gary. What caught my attention was that Darren Washington and Yancey were mentioned in the op-ed. The Times had it in their newspaper but no mention of Al Menchaca, Sr. But it's "cool" because Al Menchaca was elected on the second ballet @ Multi-Purpose Center on Ridge Road and Cleveland Street.

"Viva Al Menchaca, Sr."

This Is On The Love Side

"This On The Love Side"

Wanted to recognize E'Twaun Moore for his career in NBA and also being a "role model" for other "young bucks" in our backyard.

Keeping It One Hundred 6.8.19

 Mayor Copeland

"Keep It One Hundred"

Remember when Former Chief of Police Becker was brought in @ East Chicago Police department as the new Chief of Police... Some were asking for an "African American" as Chief and others wanted a Hispanic for the chief job, you feel me? Yet, one wise cop told me the following. "Suppose I'm gonna have open heart surgery. Am I gonna went with a "black doctor" or  good doctor. You gonna want a Hispanic doctor or a good doctor, Street. This "poe-poe" made his point to me. I'mma want a good doctor. Street told him.

Good luck to our top brass @ East Chicago Police Department.
